Kulicke & Soffa names Raj Talluri president and CEO effective September 1

Kulicke and Soffa Industries announced the appointment of Dr. Raj Talluri as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026. The release says he succeeds Lester A. Wong, who had served as interim CEO and who continues as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Per the release, Talluri most recently served as President and CEO of Enovix Corporation and previously was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile Business Unit at Micron Technology from 2018 to 2022, after earlier senior roles at Qualcomm and Texas Instruments. Chairman Peter T. Kong is quoted saying the board is "thrilled to welcome Raj as our new CEO." The company also filed an 8-K with the SEC on August 17, 2026.

Intel completed an upsized follow-on equity offering that, including the 30-day option given to underwriters to purchase additional shares, raised about $23 billion — up from an initial $15 billion offering that was increased to $20 billion. Round Hill Music files copyright infringement lawsuits against Suno and Anthropic over AI training

Round Hill Music L.P. said it filed copyright infringement lawsuits against Suno, Inc. and Anthropic PBC, alleging the companies used musical works it owns or manages without authorization to train AI models. The suits assert that defendants reproduced Round Hill's intellectual property on servers in violation of the Copyright Act and employed data scraping to bypass security measures in violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Works cited include "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls, "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler and "I Got You (I Feel Good)" by James Brown.
