SK Hynix's flash memory unit Solidigm has selected Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as lead banks for a US initial public offering next year that could raise about $10 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. Applied Digital reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue of $341.9 million, up 322% from the prior-year period, and a net loss from continuing operations attributable to common stockholders of $221.0 million, or $0.76 per share. Its leases cover approximately 1.41 GW of critical IT load, representing approximately $36 billion of contracted revenue over initial base terms, and fully operational critical IT load at Polaris Forge 1, leased to CoreWeave, reached 250 MW on October 1.

Duke Energy settlement with Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft sets upfront-payment rules for NC data centers

Duke Energy's two North Carolina utilities reached a settlement with the North Carolina Public Staff, with Amazon, Google, Meta and Microsoft among the other parties, requiring large-load customers of 50 megawatts or more with 80% load factor to make nonrefundable upfront payments for grid facilities serving only them. The agreement is subject to approval by the North Carolina Utilities Commission.
