FCC grants SpaceX authority to deploy and operate 15,000-satellite D2D constellation

In order DA 26-1078, adopted and released October 6, 2026, the FCC's Space Bureau and Wireless Telecommunications Bureau granted in part and deferred in part SpaceX's application to launch and operate its 15,000-satellite "SpaceX D2D Constellation" in orbital shells from 326 km to 335 km. The order also granted, with conditions, SpaceX's request to waive the rule requiring a lease arrangement with a terrestrial wireless licensee to provide supplemental coverage from space in the AWS-3 and AWS-H bands.

SAP begins Joule Work rollout and enters payments with SAP Pay at SAP Connect
