Tesla unveils redesigned Roadster with SpaceX thrusters; Musk says it will be built in 2028

Tesla revealed its redesigned second-generation Roadster at an event outside Waco, Texas, where the car used thrusters to lift itself over other Tesla vehicles while in motion; Musk called it the work of Tesla and SpaceX engineers working closely together. Musk said Tesla will build the car in 2028 but did not name a price; Tesla is taking reservations of $50,000 for the Performance trim and $250,000 for Thrust, and all three trims will have 300 miles of range and speeds exceeding 230 miles per hour.

Netflix said Peter Rice will join as Chief Content Officer effective October 26, replacing Bela Bajaria, who is leaving after nearly 10 years. Rice was most recently Chairman of Walt Disney Television and Chairman of General Entertainment for The Walt Disney Company.

KFC to switch its US restaurants from PepsiCo to Coca-Cola beverages

Yum Brands' KFC said its U.S. restaurants will drop PepsiCo and switch to Coca-Cola beverages, the first time in decades the chain has changed its U.S. drink supplier. KFC expects to be pouring Coke beverages in all of its U.S. restaurants by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
