Quanta Computer reported September revenue of NT$325.3 billion, up 76.7% year over year and down 23.3% from August, which it attributed to a high August base and customer shipment scheduling. Third-quarter revenue reached NT$1.11554 trillion, up 125.2% year over year, and the company said the Vera Rubin platform entered trial production at the end of Q3, with small-volume shipments in Q4 and a volume ramp expected in Q1 next year.

Samsung's 12-layer HBM4E passes Nvidia and hyperscaler qualification tests, Korea Economic Daily reports

Samsung Electronics' memory division passed HBM4E 12-layer qualification tests by Nvidia and major hyperscaler customers at the end of last month, the Korea Economic Daily reported; supply volumes, contract size and mass-production timing were not confirmed, and Samsung said it could not confirm the report. Samsung has said the 48GB product runs at up to 16Gbps per pin, more than 20% faster than HBM4, with 16% better energy efficiency.
