Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Jae-yong to receive about 2.6 trillion won of shares from his mother

Samsung Electronics said in a regulatory filing that Hong Ra-hee will give Chairman Lee Jae-yong 11.16 million Samsung Electronics shares, a 0.17 percent stake valued at about 2.6 trillion won, raising his stake from 1.58 percent to 1.75 percent. The transfer is scheduled for Nov. 12 and follows Lee's purchase of 7.19 million shares from Hong in an off-market transaction worth about 1.92 trillion won.

Broadcom introduced VMware HyperArmor, software that protects the ESX hypervisor underlying VMware Cloud Foundation, at VMware Explore in Frankfurt. It combines host-level virtual patching that Broadcom says mitigates vulnerabilities without host reboots or software upgrades, a baseline that blocks unauthorized executables and scripts on ESX hosts, and a time-based one-time-password second factor for ESX SSH logins; it supports ESX 8.x and later.

Nokia agrees to sell its Enterprise Campus Edge private-wireless business to AURELIUS

Nokia signed a definitive agreement for AURELIUS to acquire its Enterprise Campus Edge (ECE) business, a private wireless and industrial edge unit serving nearly 900 customers, with closing expected in the first half of 2027 subject to customary closing conditions. Nokia said the deal supports its strategy to focus capital where it can differentiate and create long-term value; the release did not disclose financial terms.
