The products are expected to begin sampling in Q4 2026 to select hyperscale, OEM and NPO customers. Amazon makes fresh job cuts, mainly in its Stores retail unit

Amazon confirmed it cut a small number of jobs, primarily in its Stores unit, which oversees its main e-commerce website; a person familiar with the matter said fewer than 1,000 white-collar workers were let go. Employees in the US, India and the UK were among those affected. The cuts are the latest in a series of small reductions since a larger round of 30,000 job cuts that began last year and continued into January.

Waymo closed a $5 billion term loan, its first debt financing, with PIMCO, Blackstone and Sixth Street as lead syndicated lenders and Goldman Sachs as sole lead bookrunner.
