AMD introduces Helion, an open OCP-based rack blueprint for agentic AI

AMD introduced the AMD Helion agentic AI rack, an open blueprint based on an Open Compute Project spec design, with configurations including a CPU-only rack of 6th Gen EPYC processors supporting up to 32,768 CPU cores and an all-in-one rack combining EPYC CPU nodes with Instinct MI350P GPU nodes. Nanya Technology Q3 2026 revenue up 61.9% quarter on quarter; expects DRAM prices to rise further in Q4

Nanya Technology reported third-quarter revenue of NT$133.649 billion (US$4.19 billion), up 61.9 percent from the previous quarter as average DRAM selling prices climbed more than 60 percent, with gross margin of 85.7 percent and net profit of NT$87.627 billion, or NT$25.4 per share. President Lee Pei-ing said DRAM is still in very tight supply and prices are expected to rise further in the fourth quarter; AI infrastructure-related products now account for more than 20 percent of revenue.

NHTSA evaluates petition alleging Tesla robotaxis speed in school zones

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it is evaluating a petition's claim that Tesla Cybercab and Model Y vehicles using automated systems drive too fast in active school zones, according to documents posted to NHTSA's website, Bloomberg reported. The preliminary probe covers an estimated 1,000 vehicles from the 2026 model year, and the agency has not yet decided whether to grant or deny the petitioner's request for a full investigation.
