Salesforce issues fiscal 2030 revenue target of over $63 billion at Dreamforce investor session

At its Dreamforce session with analysts and investors, Salesforce issued a fiscal 2030 revenue forecast of more than $63 billion, above the $59.2 billion analysts polled by LSEG expected; CFO Robin Washington said Salesforce has bought back a cumulative $60 billion of its shares, and CEO Marc Benioff said the company will probably sell its Anthropic stake.

Amazon gets Generac warrant tied to up to $8 billion in data center backup generator payments, signs long-term supply agreement

Generac issued an Amazon subsidiary a warrant to acquire up to 1,693,745 Generac shares at $200.9266 each, with 307,954 shares vesting immediately and the rest vesting in tranches tied to Amazon's payments for backup power generators for its data centers, up to a total of $8 billion. Generac and Amazon also executed a long-term supply agreement, with initial deliveries of backup generators expected to total $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028.

Fed raises federal funds target range by 1/4 point to 3-3/4 to 4 percent

In a statement approved by a 12-0 vote, the FOMC raised the target range for the federal funds rate by 1/4 percentage point to 3-3/4 to 4 percent. It said inflation remains elevated and the action will support a timelier return to its 2 percent goal.
